Tungsten is a customizable information management system developed by pieffeDESIGN to manage the websites that are developed for many of our clients. The system consists of the Tungsten Core on which additional modules are added as needed. The modular design allows us to create an interface for each client that suites the specific needs of their website.

Graphic Independence

The problem with most Content Management Systems (CMS) is that the control panel is directly tied to the actual appearance of the website through a template. This dependancy means that the CMS must be heavily altered or compromises must be made in the design of the website.

Tungsten is strictly a 'back-end' management system. The 'front-end' is custom written by pieffeDESIGN and is not based on any particular design or template. This independance allows us to have unprecedented control over the look and operation of the website that normal content management systems can't match.
